It shows a mid morning scene of the ship’s crew having launched the Batavia’s life boat to investigate the nearby islands for possible soon to be required shelter, water and food., with the ship shown at sunrise and them realising their grave situation.

• The Limited Edition prints are available in three sizes on canvas only or three smaller sizes on cotton rag etch card only.

• All options have a limited amount of copies.

• A numbered Certificate of Authenticity will be issued with each print sale.
